Quinoa Anyone?

Hey guys! Let’s talk about quinoa. I am very picky about quinoa and it usually is not the first thing I grab off the shelf. I often overload it with salt just to get a little flavor. It has a ton of nutrients and seems to be a staple in health gurus diet’s, but I could never find one I liked. I recently saw Ancient Harvest Organic Quinoa with Chickpeas and Garlic in an easy cook bag. I love garlic and chickpeas so I decided to give it a try. I ended up with a quinoa stir fry with brussel sprouts and steak and it was delicious! It only took about 10 minutes to make and it involved minimal effort.

All you need is:
-Ancient Harvest Organic Quinoa with Chickpeas and Garlic
-squeezable garlic
-salt
-2 tablespoons of water
-pepper
-any extra veggies (I used brussel sprouts)
-any protein about as much as the palm of your hand (I used steak because I had some left over, but chicken would work great too)

Instructions:
-Empty the quinoa into a skillet on medium heat and add the water
-Cut up your meat into strips and add it in
-Add any veggies you want at this time
-Add one small squeeze of garlic
-Add a pinch of salt and pepper
-Put a lid on the skillet and stir occasionally until everything is warm (about 5 min)
-Pour onto a plate and enjoy!
